Every Exploit Echoes: the intro film is done

Ninety seconds, fifteen shots, no narration. The film ends on the frame where the game begins.

The intro is finished. It runs exactly ninety seconds across fifteen shots, and nobody explains anything over it.

It opens at 03:17 in the Drifter’s room, with rain on the window and a cassette turning next to the clock. From there it cuts through the things the game is about. There is recon at the desk, and a server aisle where the other end of the terminal physically lives. A defender in a SOC gets an alert. A facilities worker badges a door he shouldn’t be behind, and a night receptionist hesitates over an access request. After that come the consequences: a host isolated, a hash committed, and a question, “Who are you today?”

Then it doesn’t end. The camera settles into the Drifter’s seat at the six-monitor desk, the burner phone buzzes, and three notifications appear:

CORPORATE // Incident assigned
MERC // Contract available
UNKNOWN // Encrypted message received

That last frame is where the demo starts. The game has to rebuild it exactly, down to the clock and the cassette, so the film can dissolve into the engine without a cut. Everything we build for the lair is now measured against that one frame.

The soundtrack is “Shadow packet” from OST Vol.1. You can hear the whole album on the Dr1ftS0und page.
