The first texture
Ten PCB terminal backgrounds in nine minutes, three keepers, into Unity the same day. The neon circuit-board look starts here.
Written after the fact, from the commit history and the design logs.
The AI art pipeline produced its first asset today: terminal backgrounds. Ten PCB variants generated in about nine minutes, three keepers selected, copied into the Unity project the same day.

Circuit-board green, glowing traces, bundled wires. This was the “PCB plus neon” identity in its first form, and it held for months: the comic-style neon cyberpunk direction that the MVP docs wrote down as the game’s look.
Most of it did not survive contact with the intro film. The film is photoreal, dark, and restrained, and the game now follows it. What carried over is smaller than a texture: the trace motif, used sparingly, and cyan as the one signal colour. Everything-glows became ten-percent-glows. The first texture is still in the repo, which feels right. You should be able to see where a look came from.
